Our first annual LOCALLY GROWN SHOWCASE was held on March 18th 2017 from 11-4pm at Indian Creek Foundation. Our hosts, Indian Creek Foundation really set the tone – it was so great to be in such a loving and accepting place. The animated personalities of Souderton Area High School’s Future Business Leaders of America club inspired us to get the party started! The students from the club dressed up as our locally grown veggies and put on a show for the little ones. DJ Mike Trotter entertained the crowd while they shopped and got to know more about the local vendors. FeRrous, the Iron Pigs Mascot, stopped by to say hello and take pictures with everyone. Dump n Roll & Surf and Turf food trucks kept everyone fed and Jennifer of Sunny Face Painting wowed everyone with her designs.  All the vendors came together over the same positive goal: better health and well-being through natural, local foods and products. Despite less than ideal weather, the event was a huge success due to strong community collaboration and we look forward to working with everyone again next year. A big thank you to all of our sponsors and vendors, to event chair Dana and her committee, and to everyone who helped pull Locally Grown Showcase together! Check out our photos and the vendor list below:
