2014-2015 Theme: “Women would walk a mile for a C.A.M.E.L.” (Cure for Cancer, An end to Domestic Violence, More Support for women veterans, Equality for all Women, Legislation to empower women)

2013-2014 Theme: “We’ve Come A Long Way Baby”

2011-2012 Theme: “ Obstacles are Opportunities in Disguise” On September 17th, 2011, our Membership Committee once again participated in our local “Univest Grand Prix” bike race. Our table had a display of BPW information, handed out flyers and talked to potential members. The committee also attended our local “Chamber of Commerce Expo” on Oct. 6, 2011 and gave membership information to the local businesses. A membership Open House was held during our November meeting and another one is planned for April.

Fund Raising Projects for CharityConcert Sundaes, Show & Sell, Tupperware, Wawa Coupons, Bon-Ton Community Day,  and our biggest fundraiser, our annual Fashion Show and Luncheon.

Charities and Community Services Supported :  Scholarships were given to students at Montgomery County Community College; Souderton Area School District to include The Sara Frederick Memorial Award; donations to Laurel House, Indian Valley Public Library, The Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club, The Souderton Education Foundation, Worthwhile Wear, Mary E Walker House, The Keystone Opportunity Center Food Bank and our year round project of Women-Helping-Women project where baskets are filled with items to support women who are getting their lives back together. In 2011 we also made a contribution to the Chestnut Street Playground Project, a local effort to update and upgrade the playground and make it handicap accessible for children and adults.  We will also supported a student from the Souderton High School who attended a summer program at Brown University this year.

Awards: June 2011 – at State Convention we received the Silver Award in recognition of our donation to the PA BPW Foundation. June 2011 – at State Convention we received the Public Relations award for the WNPV Radio segment promoting our club. March 2012 – at the Spring District Meeting we won a certificate for having the highest percentage of members in attendance

Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month. Networking starts at 6:00 pm and the dinner meeting starts at 6:30 pm. Reservations required.
