The Souderton-Telford Business and Professional Women’s Organization is coordinating a Locally Grown Showcase event at the Indian Creek Foundation  located at 420 Cowpath Road in Souderton scheduled for Saturday, March 18th, 2017. It aims to connect families in our area with 4 types of vendors (1) restaurants using fresh local ingredients (2) local suppliers of fresh all natural foods and products (3) service organizations, ways to get involved in the community and (4) local charities, ways to give back and invest in the community.

Our pilot year in 2017 was such a huge success that we’re doing it again! Not only were those who attended pleased with the vendors and activities – but the positive energy was reverberated among everyone who helped or participated. The connections made and/or strengthened within the community are priceless. We hope you’ll choose to be a part of it by attending, sponsoring or bringing your local fresh organic goods to sell.  Whether you support clean eating, women’s equality, those with special needs, or giving back to your community, know that there are so many great reasons to partake in this event.

Some of what could be found at last year’s event were:

  • Wine Tasting.
  • Alpacas – inside or out come meet our furry friends!
  • Real help and resources for families whose members have special needs.
  • Fun kids‘ activities.
  • Food trucks.
  • Fertilizer-free, NON-GMO produce and jarred goods.
  • Tons of samples.
  • Natural, locally made soaps.
  • Tons of prizes to win through raffles.
  • Certified organic meats.
  • Assistance available for single mothers.
  • Organic cotton candy.
  • Valuable tools and assistance for anyone living with mental health issues and/or addiction.
  • Farm to Table Restaurants.

This is just a smidgen of what our vendors have to offer. Save the date and come out to meet us on 3/3/18!

This event was designed with you in mind! We’ve all been witnessing the trend of eating more natural, less processed foods in recent years and we feel blessed to live in and serve an area whose supply of fresh local meats and produce is abundant. We want to spread the word and help local families to enjoy the resources that exist at their fingertips. Additionally, we want to help spread the reach of the local organizations that we are so proud to have serving in our region by helping them connect with all the new families that are increasingly calling the Indian Valley region their home. Another part of the Showcase is for local charities to shake hands with the community and explain how they help. There are so many ways to give back and invest in the betterment of the area and we want to give you the chance to make a strong supporting connection. So whether you are a parent who wants to feed their children only the best or a caring individual who wants to do more for their community but doesn’t know where to begin, come out and get acquainted.

We’re all neighbors here!

The Locally Grown Showcase is intended to take place outdoors. Our location was selected in large part for also having indoor hosting space available as to avoid the need for a rain date. We’ll be gathering rain, shine or (dare we say it!) snow! Check back to this page for any updates no matter what. ***Tip: Bring cash, No ATM on-site.
